Environment Study include Climate Change , Waste management, Environment Health and Changes

Now environment sector have a lot of vacancy in India and abroad. Because Government and people know if environment disturbed then  how much is harmful for human.

In Environment Study we read about natural source. Our Environmental  Department has been actively identifying and introducing various courses linking environmental issues and sustainable development with technology and business. These introductory courses are being taught to the students of technology and management at SRMUH since the past academic year.

Courses in Environmental Science:

POST GRADUATE COURSES

  • Master of Science (M.Sc.) – Environmental Science

    Duration: 
    2 years

    Eligibility: 
    Candidates must have passed graduation or an equivalent examination in any discipline in any field of Natural Science including Physics, Chemistry / Life Sciences / Microbiology / Biology / Biotechnology and Medical Laboratory Technology, or in their respective branch from UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate.


DOCTORATE

  • Ph.D. – Environment Sciences

    (Jointly with the Departments of Chemistry, Biotechnology and Management)

    Eligibility: 
    Candidates must have passed Post graduation in the relevant discipline from a UGC recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate. However an applicant with M.Phil/CSIR-UGC/JRF/NET/SLET cleared in the relevant subject is exempted from Entrance test.

    Department of Environmental Sciences at SRM University, Sonipat, Haryana (SRMUH) was established with the clear objective of furthering cutting edge interdisciplinary research in specific fields.

    Research on Environmental Impact Studies, Environmental Health, Climate Change and Waste management is in progress. Several research proposals covering these aspects are being currently developed.
