Governor addressed Law Seminar at SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat Haryana Hon’ble Haryana Governor and Visitor of SRM University, Haryana, His Excellency Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, addressed the Valedictory Function for the two-days National Seminar held on “Concept of Bharat in the Eyes of Constitution Makers” at SRM University Haryana, Sonepat on Thursday, where hundreds of students, faculty and scholars participated with great fervor and spirit. The Seminar was jointly organized by the Faculty of Law, SRM University, Sonepat Constitution Club and JK Study Centre as a part of Haryana Golden Jubilee Year and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Birth Anniversary. Prof. S. Rajarajan, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SRM University, welcomed the dignitaries and audience, and emphatically articulated the need, progress and innovation discourse of the modern science and technology and its importance in a developing society, perpetuated and imbibed with new modules in innovation, most specifically in the field of research.

Shri Ravi Pachamoothoo, Chancellor, SRM University and ‘Best Entrepreneur of the Year 2014’ awardee, who laid the Foundation Stone for a branch of City Union Bank in the University premises earlier, presided over the function. He encouraged the audience, and exhorted his vision of making a world class University, and expressed that the SRM Universities at Chennai, Sonepat and Gangdok, are imparting and inculcating 75000 students, who represent diverse culture from different States and countries. Shri Jawaharlal Kaul, a Padmashri awardee and President, JK Study Centre, pointed out, unswerving leadership and diplomatic dialogues are the most suitable ways to settle the Kashmir issue.

Governor addressed Law Seminar at SRM University Delhi-NCR, Sonepat Haryana The Governor acknowledged the unflinching commitment of SRM University, Haryana, and its educational initiatives of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor and Faculty on engineering, technology, science, humanities and social sciences, and appreciated the fledgling University for its eminent and novel initiatives. Moreover, he exhorted that the foundations of a strong nation is based on the strengthening of the Constitution, where the role of law makers is always pertinent to eminency and vibrancy for making a unique India.Mr. Ashutosh Bhatnagar, Director, JK Study Centre; Prof. K.L. Bhatia and other legal luminaries, including Vice-Chancellors, faculties and students of other Universities participated in the programme. Mrs. Deepshika, Assistant Professor, Law, read out the proceedings of the two-days seminar. The function ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Dr. Ashok Kantroo, Dean of Law, followed by the national anthem.
