Payment of transportation fees for coming academic year 2017-18 - Reg.

With reference to the above mentioned subject, those who need university transport facility running from various locations to university are requested to confirm their willingness to avail the bus service. The concerned student is informed to pay the annual transportation fee on or before 20.04.2017. This is mandatory for all continuing students because the university management has to arrange required number of buses/tempo travelers to the confirmed number of students.

Also the following rules & regulations are to be complied by the students for the academic year 2017-18.

  • Students, need of SRM transport facilities, have to apply through proper application. The application is available at cash counter of finance department for ₹500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only).
  • The students have to pay the transportation fee for the year (2017-18) as one time full payment, Partial payment are not accepted in any case.
  • If once enrolled for SRM University transport facility with application-cum-fee payment, no refund is applicable later.
  • Any students who have been availing transport facility for 2016-17, if desires to discontinue bus service for next academic year (2017-18) have to give a request letter to Mr. Silambarasan, Assistant Manager (Transport) within 10 days from the date of this circular.
