New Food Product Development Exhibition

  • New Food Product Development Exhibition, provide the insight knowledge to the Food Technology student for the development of new food product with innovation such as students developed the flaxseed-amaranths laddu, fruits flavoured oats choco fuzz, mutli-grain instant powder, fermented kanji, condiment papad, oats chilla, watermelon kulfi, and soya tandhai. This exhibition enlightens the student management skills from processing to the marketing their products.

  • The session commenced with an address from the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities, Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Dube. He imparted essential information on traditional food in India with innovative food ideas.

  • Following the Dean's speech, Dr. Yogesh Kumar, the Head of the Department of Food Technology, took the stage. He provided the knowledge to the students on optimization process of new food product along with their shelf life.

  • In the concluding segment of the event, SRMUH faculty of all other departments interacted with the students, sharing their experiences and insights. Additionally, they organized various engaging activities such as food packaging, poster making on the theme World Health Day and Food Safety, Food Quiz.

  • The event took place on April 18, 2022, in Room No. 311 B, Engineering Block, at SRM University, Delhi-NCR, located in Sonepat, Haryana, India.
