This event was conducted on 15/09/2023 for the freshers of Faculty of Law. This event was organized by the second year students of Faculty of Law. This event name was VIDHI AAGAAZ’23. It was commenced on 10:00 am and ended on 3:30 pm. The purpose for this event was to marked the beginning of an exciting academic year and welcomed new students with enthusiasm and warmth and aimed to provide an engaging and memorable introduction to campus life for incoming students. Faculty in-charge for this event was Ms. Kanika Agarwal, Faculty Convenor of the departmental Cultural Society, and Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Faculty in-charge of the departmental Disciplinary Committee. This event was held under the guidance of Dean, Faculty of Law, Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh and Hod Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kulshrestha.
Event Highlights:
1. Theme and Décor: The Freshers’ event was themed “THE INFLUENCER PARADE” and featured vibrant decorations that transformed the venue into a lively and welcoming space. Balloons, banners, and creative props added to the festive atmosphere.
2. Lighting of the lamp – 10:05 AM.
3. Fecilitation of VC Sir by the Dean of the Faculty of Law.
4. Welcome Address: The event began with a heartfelt welcoming address by VC Sir Paramjit S. Jaswal. The speech emphasized the importance of unity, diversity, and the opportunities awaiting the incoming students in their academic journey- 10:15 am.
5. Commencement of VIDHI AAGAAZ’23 by Amar Gaur of B.A-LL.B (2021) – 10:25 am.
6. Starting with the first round by 10:30 to 11:40 am, and this round includes the ramp walk for the participation and also they have to introduction themselves with an essence of the social media influencer they have chosen. And in this round the Faculties were on stage to entertain the freshers with their ramp walk and unique way of introduction.
7. Then there was a dance performance by seniors of law department and it was performed by Harsh jarostia of (BA.LL.B) 2022 – 11:45 am.
8. There was a very fun and entertaining segment for the freshers ; REEL DEAL , so basically in this game the participants were called upon the stage , a viral reel audio will be played and the participants have to present the famous choreography related to the audio. – 11:50 am to 12:15 pm.
9. Then we move on our next segment that is round 2, “THE UNLEASH YOUR ARTIST” basically the participants have to showcase their talent in front of the audience and the panel of judges who were present over their , every participants showed their talent with full energy and tried to entertain the audience , and the judges were marking them by their crowd interaction.
10. A music performance was done by Bhanu of BA.LL.B of 2022 batch. – 1:35 pm.
11. After this musical performance we began with the our final segment that is round 3. “SHOW YOUR INTELLECT”. This round consist two categories first one ramp walk and second one question and answer which Faculty will ask for the selection of mr fresher and ms fresher. – 1:40 pm to 2:29 pm.
12. By the time results are being declared we represent a fun segment that is “TEENS CHOICE AWARD” – 2:25 pm to 2:45 pm. In this round we award them with exciting titles on the basis of their talent round.
13. We came to an end of our freshers 2k23, felicitation of REGISTERAR SIR PROF.V.SAMUEL RAJ by dean sir of Faculty of Law. – 2:50 pm to 3:00 pm.
14. Closing speech by registerar sir following with the prize distribution for mr fresher & ms fresher followed by teen choice award. – 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
15. Closing address by dean sir Faculty of Law.
